Passion Java records set new record

THE much-anticipated collaboration of legendary Congolese singer and dancer Kofi Olomide, local urban groover Rockford ‘Roki’ Josphats and Tanzanian BET award winner Rayvanny reached more than two million views in less than 48 years.

He has set a local record outwitting Jah Prayzah who reached one million in one month.

The song Patati Patata which was released this week has sent a lot of tongues wagging ,drawing mixed feelings from fans.

It was however endorsed by one of the champions of urban music self exiled Jonathan Moyo and several other revered music critics. The song was produced by one of the most prolific music producers, Oskid at prophet and socialite, Passion Java’s recording stable.

Passion Java on his part has been very instrument in promoting local music and musicians as well as empowering them.

The song on Passion Java Records YouTube channel reached 500k views in less than 12 hours. Passion Java Records is on a mission of pushing the local music industry  to dizzy heights.
Their signing of Roki has resuscitated his dormant career and he is set to reclaim his throne as the king of urban music.

Passion Java Records manager Denford Saunyama said he felt humbled by the response the song has received locally and abroad.

“We want to thank the world for believing in us, we are anticipating to reach even greater heights on a number of yardsticks and barometers. We are excited and listening to every feedback,” he said.
