LAMAR Odom and Khloe Kardashian have decided to give their marriage a second go as the former NBA star continues his “miraculous” recovery a week after he almost died at a brothel.
Kardashian’s lawyer, Laura Wasser, filed a petition on Wednesday to dismiss the reality star’s divorce filing of two years ago.
A clerk approved the request, allowing the divorce papers to be refiled if necessary at a later date.
The document, which does not specify a reason for the change of heart, shows 35-year-old Odom signed off on it on Tuesday.
Kardashian, 31, has been by his side since he was found in an extremely critical condition on 13 October at the Love Ranch brothel in Crystal, Nevada.
The brothel’s owner, Dennis Hof, has said Odom spent $75,000 (£48,600) over four days on two women in a VIP suite before collapsing.
Test results from Odom’s blood samples obtained through a warrant are pending, amid claims he had taken cocaine.
He regained consciousness on Friday and was transported to the Los Angeles area on Monday to recover.
“He continues to make miraculous progress, taking a few steps,” a statement from his family said.
Kardashian and Odom are still legally married despite both signing divorce documents in July.
