Zimbabwean Prophet, Passion Java is in Eithiopia for a relative’s wedding
IT appears cash seem to rules everything around charismatic Zimbabwean Prophet Passion Java.
Barely a weeks after he was reported to be in a financial mess and had been evicted from his Borrowdale Brook Lodgings, pictures of him counting wards of US$100 dollars notes estimated to be about US$350 000 in Ethiopia are circulating on social media.
Borrowdale Brook is one of the lavish suburbs in Zimbabwe.
Passion is currently in Ethiopia for a wedding of a relative of his wife, Lily Tsegaye whom he married last year in April.
Lily is from Ethiopia.
Passion – one of the Major Prophets in Zimbabwe who is staying a local five star hotel in the Addis Ababa, had been chauffeur driven in a 2015 Cadillac Escalade ESV since he arrived in Ethiopia last week.

Prophet Passion counting “bricks” of US dollars in his hotel room
Pictures of him with ‘bricks’ of US$100 dollar notes circulating on social media also came as he is also said to have two of his properties in Kadoma a small town about 139 km west of the capital city Harare attached by the Sheriff of Court and would go under the hammer on February over debt.
According to media reports in Zimbabwe, the Sheriff of the High Court has instructed Bard Real Estate to auction Passion’s two commercial stands in the small town in a case in which Viewsat Pvt Limited is the complainant.
The stands are Stand Number 2983 and 3341 in Kadoma. There was no official comment whether Passion had file any opposition to stop the auction.
Passion made headlines in December when he organised a lavish party at Borrowdale Brook Golf Course which gobbled thousands of dollars.
Last year local media in Bahamas reported that countries in the Caribbean’s were scrambling to have the Zimbabwean prophet, preach in their countries after last month he prophesied that Hurricane Joaquine that had made inhabitants of Bahamas and America restless after weather forecasters had forecast a terrible on ‘attack’ the inland would not happen.
He has been receiving red carpet treatment in Jamaica, Bahamas and Trinidad and Tobago.
He once invited celebrity preacher Bishop Noel Jones and booked him in the Presidential suite of a top local hotel. He considers Bishop Jones as his spiritual father. He is also reported to have a vibrant prophetic school – addisadmassnews.net
